Are you a qualified Social Worker looking to make a positive difference in adults' lives?

Join our Adult Social Work Team in Derwentside and help people achieve greater independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

In this rewarding role, you'll:

  • Manage a varied caseload of adults requiring support
  • Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding enquiries and mental capacity assessments
  • Work closely with families, carers, health colleagues and partner organisations
  • Develop person-centred support plans that promote choice and independence
  • Contribute to timely, coordinated and effective support for adults in the community

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Hold a recognised Social Work qualification
  • Are registered with Social Work England
  • Have experience in a statutory adult social care setting
  • Have knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation
  • Possess strong assessment, analytical and relationship-building skills
