Are you a qualified Social Worker looking to make a positive difference in adults' lives?
Join our Adult Social Work Team in Derwentside and help people achieve greater independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
In this rewarding role, you'll:
- Manage a varied caseload of adults requiring support
- Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding enquiries and mental capacity assessments
- Work closely with families, carers, health colleagues and partner organisations
- Develop person-centred support plans that promote choice and independence
- Contribute to timely, coordinated and effective support for adults in the community

We're looking for candidates who:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification
- Are registered with Social Work England
- Have experience in a statutory adult social care setting
- Have knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation
- Possess strong assessment, analytical and relationship-building skills
