Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join its client's team in Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team delivering high-quality, person-centred services to adults and their families.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

  • Undertake strength-based assessments and reviews in line with the Care Act 2014.
  • Complete comprehensive risk assessments and implement effective risk management plans.
  • Develop outcome-focused support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults by identifying, investigating, and managing safeguarding concerns.
  • Apply the Mental Capacity Act and make best interests decisions where required.
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, providers, carers, families, and partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate case records, assessments, reports, and statutory documentation.
  • Manage a varied caseload while meeting statutory responsibilities and service deadlines.
  • Advocate for service users and support positive outcomes through effective partnership working.

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
  • Previous experience within Adult Social Care.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of social care legislation and statutory responsibilities.
  • Experience of safeguarding adults and managing complex cases.
  • Sound understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and best interests decision making.
  • Strong communication, report writing, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed professional judgements.
  • Experience of multi-agency working and partnership development.
