Overview
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking permanent, Experienced Social Workers who are passionate about empowering citizens to reach their full potential. In this role, you will provide a high-quality, effective service that responds to the needs of people with lived experience, their informal carers, and their families. All assessments and support plans are completed in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014, reflecting a strengths-based approach that helps residents live fulfilling, independent lives within statutory guidelines.

About You
- Must hold a qualification in social work
- Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
- Have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
- Knowledge of social work models and interventions including strengths based practice models (Desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).
