Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Assessment & Intervention Team at Wrexham.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will work with children and families requiring assessment, support, and intervention to ensure children remain safe and achieve positive outcomes.
As part of a supportive team, you will undertake assessments, formulate plans, and work directly with children and families to reduce risks and improve family functioning. The service is committed to delivering high-quality interventions and providing strong management support to practitioners.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Complete Child & Family Assessments and provide timely interventions for children in need.
- Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre-proceedings plans.
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments where appropriate.
- Develop and review plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and multi-agency professionals.
- Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, conferences, core groups, and court proceedings when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recordings, assessments, and reports in line with statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Post-qualified experience within Children's Services
- Experience within Assessment, Child Protection, or Safeguarding teams
