Job Opportunity: Social Worker in Knowsley
Liquid Personnel are in partnership with their client in Knowsley to recruit a Social Worker within their Child Protection/Child in Need Team.

Salary
£42,839 per annum rising to £44,074 after 12 months
Responsibilities
As a Child Protection/Child in Need Social Worker you will be also be responsible for carrying duty, assessment and the case up to the initial first court hearing and removal via ICO, after this cases will be transferred over to the looked after Children’s Team.
Knowsley have recently secured funding to increase the CP service from 4 teams to 8. This means that the teams are on duty once every 8 weeks, this is where cases are allocated and the team have 7 weeks to work through assessment and planning.

To be successful in this role you must have,
- Hold a Social Work England registration.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
