The Difference you will Make in the role of Early Help Social Worker

The Early Help Social Worker is an integral part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The role of the Early Help Social Worker is to screen contacts that have not met threshold for Children's Social Care, assess support needs and recommend a plan of support where needed. The aim is to make the right decision for families at the right time to help families access the right services and support children and young people achieve positive outcomes.

Who should Apply?

We are looking for a committed Social Worker who has experience of working in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding team or transferrable skills, who is able to assess the needs of children and their families and liaise with partner agencies to gather a full picture of a child's lived experiences in a timely manner. To be confident and consistent in their decision making, and ability to apply appropriate threshold and analyse level and risk of impact.
