We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in the Broxtowe & Rushcliffe Family Support and Safeguarding Team. In this mid-level role, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families/carers. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and lead assessments that identify strengths, resilience, vulnerabilities, developmental needs, and risks. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve.
As a Social Worker, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Conducting Comprehensive Assessments: Gather and analyse information to evaluate the strengths and vulnerabilities of children and families.
- Coordinating Support Services: Work collaboratively with families and partners to identify and implement strategies and interventions that meet their needs.
- Writing Reports: Prepare structured, evidence-based reports, including Child and Family Assessments and documentation for Initial Child Protection Conferences.
- Managing Workload: Organise and manage your caseload independently while receiving supervision from the Team Manager.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- A Professional Social Work Qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, CSS).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment work.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
