What is the job role?
As a Social Worker at Coventry City Council, you will play a vital role in supporting children, families, and adults across our city. You’ll work as part of a values-driven, supportive team, using your professional expertise to safeguard, empower, and improve outcomes for the people you work with.
Your role will involve:
- Building meaningful, respectful relationships with individuals, families, and carers
- Completing high-quality assessments that inform effective planning and decision-making
- Working collaboratively with partners, agencies, and communities
- Using your professional judgement to manage risk and promote safety
- Championing the rights, wellbeing, and independence of the people you support
- Contributing to a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
