Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Learning Disabilities & Autism Team in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and autism, delivering person-centred, strengths-based interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Working within a dynamic and supportive Adult Social Care team, you will manage a complex caseload and undertake a range of statutory duties, including Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments, Court of Protection work, and support planning. This role offers the chance to work autonomously while collaborating with families, health professionals, providers, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, outcome-focused practice.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Manage a complex caseload of adults with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and person-centred support plans.
  • Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to Best Interest decisions.
  • Lead and manage safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and protection planning.
  • Support Court of Protection proceedings, including preparing court reports, statements, and legal documentation.
  • Promote personalised approaches, including direct payments, personal budgets, and community-based support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case recordings using Liquidlogic.
  • Work collaboratively with carers, families, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
