Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client’s Adult Safeguarding Team based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist service dedicated to protecting adults at risk, leading complex safeguarding enquiries, and delivering high-quality interventions that promote safety, independence, dignity, and positive outcomes.

Working within a fast-paced safeguarding environment, you will manage complex cases, undertake statutory assessments, and coordinate multi-agency responses to safeguard vulnerable adults. This role is ideally suited to a confident and knowledgeable practitioner who can make sound decisions, manage risk effectively, and champion person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

  • Complete complex, strengths-based, and person-centred assessments to identify risks, needs, and outcomes.
  • Lead safeguarding investigations, including Section 42 enquiries, safeguarding planning, and risk management interventions.
  • Manage a complex caseload involving adults at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to Best Interest decision-making processes.
  • Apply the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Continuing Healthcare guidance, and safeguarding legislation to professional practice.
  • Work closely with health professionals, police, legal services, families, carers, and partner agencies to coordinate safeguarding responses.
  • Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, court documentation, and professional records.
  • Present evidence at court hearings, safeguarding meetings, and multi-agency forums where required.
  • Support families and carers while promoting strengths-based and outcome-focused practice.
  • Mentor and support ASYE social workers, students, and less experienced colleagues.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
