Social & YouTube Coordinator (Sports)

Where: Remote

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a creative media production company for a Social & YouTube Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across digital content, YouTube subscriptions, community engagement, and audience growth, supporting a range of creative initiatives.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing the company's YouTube membership programme, coordinating newsletter content, and delivering engaging campaigns and initiatives for its online community. Working closely with editorial, production, and external partners, you'll ensure projects run smoothly and subscribers receive a seamless experience.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in digital media or social media coordination who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about online communities, content, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage YouTube subscription activity, ensuring member benefits and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Monitor subscriber engagement and identify opportunities to improve audience experience, retention, and overall performance
  • Work closely with editorial and production teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver regular newsletter content and exclusive subscriber communications
  • Manage community engagement initiatives, including giveaways, competitions, and promotional campaigns
  • Track campaign participation and performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise future activity
  • Support merchandise and e-commerce operations, including product launches, fulfilment, and customer communications
  • Oversee multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Liaise with internal teams, platform representatives, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and project delivery
  • Support production activity, including assisting on filming days and content shoots when required
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges, supporting reporting, budget tracking, and wider audience engagement initiatives

  • Previous experience in project coordination or management within a media production or digital content environment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly YouTube, and digital audience engagement
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence working across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor performance, interpret data, and provide actionable insights
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with subscription programmes, community engagement, promotional campaigns, or competitions would be advantageous
  • Exposure to e-commerce, merchandise, or digital membership models would be beneficial
