The Role
We are building a Northern Europe marketing organisation, bringing together market-facing Brand teams with centralised functional expertise across Growth, Advocacy, Media and Insights. This model enables us to deliver best-in-class execution at scale, while ensuring strong local relevance and commercial impact across our markets.
Reporting into the Growth Lead Northern Europe, we are looking for an Amazon & eRetail Marketing Lead to own marketplace media and activation across the region. The role will also work closely with the Global Amazon media teams and local Brand Leads. This role sits at the intersection of brand and performance, responsible for bringing brand marketing to life within the Amazon and eRetail ecosystem in a way that drives both visibility and conversion. You will ensure that media, content and messaging work together effectively on-platform, translating brand direction into high-performing execution across marketplaces.
Responsibilities
Amazon & Marketplace Activation Planning
- Own the Amazon and eRetail media planning across Northern Europe markets
- Partner with media agencies to build annual and quarterly media plans aligned to business and trading priorities
- Review, challenge and refine media plans, ensuring alignment to growth objectives and market needs
- Work closely with Brand Leads to align on campaign priorities, messaging and key moments
- Align media plans with commercial, vendor and eCommerce trading plans to maximise impact
- Contribute to budget planning, recommending investment priorities, shifts across channels and incremental opportunities

Paid Media & Creative Execution
- Lead the paid media and creative approach across Amazon and eRetail platforms
- Translate brand direction into platform-native execution, with clear creative structure messaging hierarchy optimised for strong visibility and conversion
- Work closely with Brand Leads across markets to ensure effective localisation and translation of paid assets
- Partner with the Lifecycle & Content Lead to align paid and organic content (PDPs, A+, onsite)
- Ensure high-quality execution across campaigns, maintaining consistency and performance standards
Performance Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Own performance across Amazon and eRetail media KPIs (ROAS, conversion, visibility, etc.)
- Analyse results and translate into clear insights, actions and optimisation priorities
- Hold agency partners accountable for performance delivery and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to scale high-performing activity and improve efficiency
- Drive a structured test-and-learn approach across campaigns and formats
- Act as the key point of contact for marketplace media, ensuring alignment across local, regional and global teams
Qualifications
Critical Capabilities & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in brand marketing, growth marketing, performance marketing, Amazon media or eCommerce activation within high-growth / high-share eComm business; experience within established global blue-chip businesses and/or high-growth start-ups across FMCG, SDA or Beverage categories
- Native-level English proficiency required; additional Nordic, Dutch and/or French language skills are advantageous
- Strong understanding of the Amazon and marketplace ecosystem (media, retail, content and conversion interplay) across UK and preferably Northern Europe; experience with DSP, AMS & AMC a must
- Experience working with media agencies, including planning, briefing and challenging output
- Strong appreciation of creative and content within performance environments, with the ability to assess and improve content effectiveness
- Understanding of ecommerce content (PDPs, A+, onsite) and how it impacts conversion (direct ownership not required)
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate into clear insights and actions
- Commercial mindset with understanding of trading, retail and channel dynamics
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrix environments
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders and working across multiple markets
