Permanent – Full Time

Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the city.

About Us

Redbridge Facilities Management delivers essential services across 600+ properties — including, schools, administrative buildings, Corporate Sites and community hubs. Our Soft Services portfolio covers cleaning, grounds maintenance, waste management, security and pest control — keeping every site safe, clean, welcoming and compliant.

We’re seeking an experienced, solution-focused manager to lead this critical service area, drive standards, manage budgets and teams, and deliver excellence for residents, staff and visitors.

The Role

You will own the strategic and operational management of all soft services across the borough. You’ll lead a team of supervisors, directly employed staff and contracted providers, ensuring consistent quality, value for money, compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with Housing, Education, Estates and Procurement to align delivery with council priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
