Software Asset Management Team Role at Marsh

About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Software Asset Management team at Marsh. This role will be based at our London office and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

The Software Asset Associate Analyst provides support throughout the software asset lifecycle to help optimize value, cost and reduce risk associated with software ownership. This includes operational support for software asset management initiatives such as software reclamation and software blacklisting. It also involves preparing regular reports that can be reviewed and actioned by other members of the Software Asset Management team. The Software Asset Associate Analyst also engages with and assists internal clients with BAU reporting requests and enquiries, software downloads, and license availability checks as needed.

  • To work in a global company with complex challenges across multiple Lines of Business each with different priorities

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with and assist internal stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting requests, queries, and software downloads
  • Assume primary responsibility for CA Queue Management, license checks, and software enquiries
  • Manage and distribute BAU, weekly headcount, incident reporting
  • Review and optimize compliance reporting as well as support application profiling

Change Manager - Organizational Design and People Change

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders as a Change subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
  • Lead and run change projects, partnering with Business Leaders, Program, and Project managers, integrating change management activities into the overall business/program objectives and delivery plans.
  • Understands the impact of changes; identify & manage change risks & issues, and anticipate points of resistance. Mitigate or address the concerns, escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to develop specific change strategies/plans, based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Oversee development of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, stakeholder analysis, communications, and training plans.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress with a particular focus on adoption.
  • Influence business leaders and key stakeholders, to help them think about change from a people-focused prospective, and how they can embed effective change management approaches into their own strategies, objectives, plans, and deliverables.
  • Work with business stakeholders, change champions/agents to prepare affected business areas and colleagues for transition to new ways of working, including developing, leading, and delivering coaching sessions and workshops as required.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of change management experience within a large complex organization, including experience of working with and across multiple functions and business areas.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong people, relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal (individuals and groups).

  • Professional training and certification, such as APMG or Prosci.
  • Familiarity with project/program management approaches, processes, and lifecycles.
  • Comfortable with providing advice and constructive challenge to Stakeholders/Project Teams.

Hybrid Work Commitment

Compensation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,700 to $195,200. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
