Description

We are seeking an experienced Software and Data Programme Manager to lead the implementation of a new ERP system and oversee the transition from our existing ERP environment. This is a high-profile opportunity, working at the heart of a major business transformation programme that will shape how our organisation operates for years to come.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programmes, you will work closely with senior leaders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR and IT, ensuring successful programme delivery while managing complex stakeholder relationships, third-party vendors, and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the ERP implementation programme, ensuring milestones, objectives and benefits are achieved.
  • Define programme scope, governance, deliverables and timelines in partnership with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners.
  • Manage programme plans, risks, issues, dependencies and escalation processes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between business functions and Managed Service Providers throughout the implementation and transition phases.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and decision-making across the organisation.
  • Translate complex technical and business information into clear reports, dashboards and executive updates.
  • Support and drive change management activities, ensuring users are informed, engaged and prepared for new ways of working.

  • Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to executive leadership, highlighting key risks, decisions and opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
