Software Delivery Manager

Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office)

About Us

At Focus Group you can be proud of what you do, how you do it and feel a true part of the team. We work hard to create an inclusive, collaborative and rewarding environment where you're inspired to achieve brilliant things and really make a difference to the future of our business.

Established in 2003, we're one of the UK's leading independent providers of essential business technology, and proud to have been named one of 'The UK's Best 100 Companies To Work For'. We're a business on a genuine growth journey, backed by Hg Capital, with acquisitions and expansion firmly on the agenda — which means this role won't stand still.

The Role

We're looking for a Software Delivery Manager to impact the order, pace and clarity of how our internal applications and services get built. Reporting to the Head of Software, you'll be the driving force behind sprint planning and delivery across multiple development teams, working alongside partnered platforms like ServiceNow, HubSpot and Dynamics.

You'll own Jira administration and sprint management end to end — running agile ceremonies, keeping the backlog in shape, and making sure technical teams and business stakeholders are always on the same page. You'll spot the trends before they become problems, escalate when it matters, and give stakeholders real visibility of progress, risk and delivery metrics.

This is a role for someone who loves structure but thrives on people — as much at home configuring a Jira workflow as they are facilitating a room full of stakeholders with competing priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
