Mango is a 24/7, 365 days a year Contact Centre which specializes in a complete end to end range of services for many companies and charities throughout the UK, Ireland and Internationally. We boast a wealth of experience providing both inbound and outbound telephone services, social media management, fulfilment, live chat and SMS management across multiple industries.

Mango has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our in-house IT Department. You will have the opportunity to support the existing team with longer term internal project work and tasks as outlined in the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop current and new campaigns for our vast range of clients, which include charity, DRTV and Housing Associations.
  • Application development lifecycle management and effective transition to support.
  • Delivery of key internal development projects, as outlined by client and department needs.
  • Liaise with other departments to identify new areas for technology.
  • Convert legacy applications to the latest technology.
  • Working on all aspects of the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with key departments and ensure effective communication at all levels.
  • Project build and tasks to ensure internal and client work is on time and within budget.
  • Lead through example by demonstrating exemplary behaviours in all aspects of the role.
  • Effective management, where required, of vendors, suppliers, and 3rd party service providers.
  • Other duties as dictated by the needs of the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to challenge the status quo when required.

Requirements

  • Educated to at least HND level in Computer Science.
  • 2+ Years’ experience in a development environment.
  • Experience in Javascript, HTML,.NET, ASP, MYSQL, MS SQL Server, Office 365, RESTful API.

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, JSON, XML
  • A demonstrable understanding of the company business areas, the call centre industry and IT, gained from past experience as well as through social/professional networking.
