About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Editorial Coordinator to join our team at CGP Books Ltd. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the development, review, and production of educational materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with authors, subject matter experts, and production teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content. The Editorial Coordinator will be instrumental in maintaining the standards of our publications, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring that all materials meet the company's quality and accuracy benchmarks. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a passion for education, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Education, English, Publishing, or a related field. Previous experience in editorial, publishing, or educational content development is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating effectively with authors and team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems are required. Attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are crucial. A passion for education and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and review of educational content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to curriculum standards.
- Work closely with authors, subject matter experts, and internal teams to facilitate the editing, proofreading, and formatting processes.
- Manage project timelines, tracking progress and ensuring the timely completion of all publishing milestones.
- Assist in the quality control process by reviewing manuscripts and final proofs for errors and inconsistencies.
- Maintain organized records of all project documentation, revisions, and correspondence.
- Support the production team in preparing materials for printing and digital distribution.
- Stay updated with current educational trends and curriculum changes to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and workflows.
