About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team working on the development of an innovative Linux-based network security appliance. The role involves designing and implementing systems and security software in a security-conscious environment, providing a significant level of independence and autonomy. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of low-level systems, network protocols, and secure architecture, playing a vital role in enhancing our cutting-edge security solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Rust, and/or Go, with a strong foundation in computer science or a related field. Fundamental networking knowledge is essential, with practical experience preferred. A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline is required. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of Linux/Unix/POSIX systems programming and network architecture principles.

Responsibilities
- Utilize Rust and Go to develop software targeting Linux on AMD64 architecture.
- Design and implement low-level systems and network programming solutions.
- Engage in Linux/Unix/POSIX systems programming to optimize performance and security.
- Program network protocols and develop secure network architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and efficiency of the network security appliance.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Maintain code quality through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
