About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic development team in Coventry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, integration, and support of critical business systems within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our software infrastructure by designing and implementing robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a software development role within a quality-controlled environment. A strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. You should possess hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, or similar, and have a solid understanding of API development and integration techniques. Experience working with ETL tools such as SSIS, as well as proficiency in managing databases, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within formal quality and change-control processes are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance business applications and systems to meet organizational needs.
- Create, support, and optimize APIs and system integrations to facilitate seamless data exchange between various platforms.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as SSIS to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
- Contribute to the development and support of web-based applications and secure portals, ensuring high levels of security and usability.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to implement solutions that align with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Participate actively in formal quality assurance, change management, and documentation processes to ensure compliance and traceability.
