About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Developer with specialized expertise in Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and integrating Thermo Fisher SampleManager solutions to optimize laboratory workflows and data management processes. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation within regulated environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, influence system architecture, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory information management systems.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing and customizing Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS in a commercial setting.
- Strong proficiency in .NET framework, C#, and related technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL databases, including query optimization and database design.
- Experience working within regulated environments such as GMP, GLP, or ISO standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, configuration, and customization of Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS solutions to meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and test software components, ensuring high quality, performance, and compliance standards are met.
- Integrate SampleManager with other laboratory systems and enterprise applications to streamline workflows and data exchange.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Participate in project planning, status reporting, and risk management activities.
- Ensure all development activities adhere to industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and development processes.
