About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced systems and security software for a pioneering Linux-based network security appliance. In this role, you will operate within a small, focused product team, enjoying a high degree of independence and autonomy. Your work will be critical in designing and implementing secure, reliable, and efficient network solutions that meet the stringent demands of modern cybersecurity environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems and network programming, with a passion for developing innovative security solutions in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Rust, and/or Go, with experience in Linux environments.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures, with practical experience preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Rust and Go to develop software tailored for Linux on AMD64 architectures, ensuring high performance and security.
- Design and implement low-level systems and network programming solutions that support the security appliance's functionality.
- Engage in Linux, Unix, and POSIX systems programming to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Program and implement network protocols and architectures to support secure communications and data transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine network architectures that prioritize security and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high standards of quality and security.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in cybersecurity, network protocols, and programming languages to ensure the product remains cutting-edge.
