About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a rapidly expanding organization that is at the forefront of cloud-native technology and AI integration. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing a middleware platform that leverages AWS services to enable seamless system-to-system integrations. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, event-driven architectures that support the organization’s strategic initiatives in AI, agentic services, and cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, cloud integration, and modern development practices, and will thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Required qualifications include:
- Proven hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python development
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures and serverless applications
- Extensive API development and enterprise/system integration experience
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Knowledge of relational databases like RDS and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
- Exposure to unit testing, integration testing, and best practices in software quality assurance

Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative technology solutions. Relevant certifications in AWS or cloud architecture are preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a Software Developer in this dynamic environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native middleware platforms leveraging AWS services
- Building scalable, reliable, and secure system-to-system integrations using event-driven architectures
- Implementing serverless solutions to optimize performance and cost-efficiency
- Developing APIs and enterprise integration points to facilitate seamless data flow across systems
- Applying Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform and AWS CDK to automate deployments
- Monitoring application performance and implementing observability best practices with tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure robust and maintainable codebases
- Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation within the team
