About The Role
We are excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a Software Developer at Reed. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in commercial software development, especially with .NET technologies including C# and MVC.NET, as well as extensive knowledge of SQL and Azure DevOps or Git. Strong front-end reactive experience with Angular is essential, complemented by expertise in T-SQL and JSON, with a deep understanding of database structures and query optimization. Experience developing cloud-based solutions within Azure is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a structured and analytical mindset, with meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and debugging. A proactive, collaborative attitude is crucial for thriving in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications in computer science, software engineering, or related fields are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining in-house software solutions that meet strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency
- Writing clean, reusable, and secure code to power various business processes, ensuring high standards of quality and security
- Identifying areas for improvement within existing systems and developing innovative solutions to optimize performance and user experience
- Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure bug-free software that aligns with business requirements
- Collaborating with IT colleagues and other departments to ensure software solutions are effectively integrated and meet organizational objectives
- Maintaining and optimizing systems across multiple platforms, ensuring their smooth and secure operation
- Managing code repositories using Azure DevOps to support continuous integration and deployment processes
