About The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a high-performing technology team responsible for architecting, developing, and enhancing sophisticated trading and research systems. This role is ideal for a strong C#/.NET engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and has a desire to influence the architecture and strategic direction of the systems they build. The successful candidate will work on a mix of greenfield development projects and continuous improvements to existing platforms, creating high-performance, reliable, and scalable applications that directly support real-world trading strategies and quantitative research initiatives.
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will have the chance to shape technical architecture, establish development standards, optimize system performance, and promote engineering best practices. You will collaborate closely with researchers, traders, and other technical specialists, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance trading efficiency and research capabilities.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and modern.NET frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and system architecture.
- Proven experience designing and developing production-grade, reliable, and scalable software systems.
- Extensive experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, development methodologies, and version control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications leveraging C# and modern.NET technologies.
- Take ownership of significant software projects from initial concept through to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Lead architectural and technical design discussions, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Develop scalable systems supporting automated trading, research, and data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain relational database solutions using SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
- Prioritize reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance in all development efforts.
- Contribute to the design and development of multi-threaded, concurrent, and distributed applications.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold high engineering standards and promote best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Support development tooling, automation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate complex technical issues, providing sustainable, long-term solutions.
- Help establish coding standards, development processes, and overall engineering practices.
- Stay current with advancements in the C#/.NET ecosystem and modern software engineering practices.
