About The Role
Reed is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Developer to join its dynamic development team on a 3-year fixed-term contract. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commercial software development, with a strong foundation in .NET technologies, including C# and MVC.NET. Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and JSON is essential, along with experience working with Azure DevOps or Git for version control. Candidates should have a solid background in front-end reactive frameworks, particularly Angular, and experience developing cloud-based solutions within Azure. A structured, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail, combined with a proactive and collaborative approach, is vital for success in this role. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining in-house software solutions that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Writing clean, reusable, and secure code to power operational processes.
- Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure bug-free performance.
- Identifying areas for system improvement to enhance performance and user experience.
- Collaborating with IT colleagues and other departments to ensure software solutions meet business needs and are seamlessly integrated across platforms.
- Maintaining and optimizing systems across multiple environments, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
- Managing code repositories within Azure DevOps to facilitate efficient development workflows.
