About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our dynamic team at CGP Books Ltd. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the development, review, and refinement of our educational materials. This position requires a strong command of language, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for education. As a Content Editor, you will collaborate closely with authors, subject matter experts, and the publishing team to ensure that our content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Publishing, or a related field
- Prior experience in editing, content development, or publishing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with educational standards and curriculum requirements (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with content management systems or editing software (a plus)
- Passion for education
- Proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Review and edit educational content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with curriculum standards
- Collaborate with authors and subject matter experts to develop new materials and revise existing content
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct research to stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices
- Ensure all content aligns with company guidelines and pedagogical principles
- Assist in the formatting and layout of educational resources for publication
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for content improvement and innovation
- Support the quality assurance process by reviewing final drafts and providing constructive feedback
