Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Software Developer / Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end services and software components that support secure products and platforms for clients.

  • Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and testable code, reviewing and refactoring existing systems, integrating with cloud services, and contributing to technical documentation.
  • The Software Developer / Engineer will collaborate with consultants and technical leadership to align solutions with client requirements, security standards, and best practices.
  • The role also includes troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and participating in code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.

  • Practical experience in Software Development and Engineering, with proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Skills in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating cloud services (AWS or Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, cyber security principles, and compliance considerations is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
