I’m supporting a leading financial organisation that’s overhauling its technology ecosystem and moving towards a cloud-first, API-led architecture. They’re looking for a Software Developer (PHP) who can help engineer the services, integrations, and cloud components that link core financial platforms with modern SaaS solutions.

You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering function, working across application development, system connectivity, and Azure-based middleware. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building secure, scalable integrations and contributing to modernisation within a regulated environment.

What You’ll Work On

  • Developing and enhancing internal applications and services
  • Building secure APIs and integration layers (REST, GraphQL)
  • Designing decoupled, event-driven integration patterns
  • Creating middleware using Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and Functions
  • Improving reliability through testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in Azure
  • Applying secure coding practices aligned with financial-services standards
  • Producing clear documentation for APIs, workflows, and cloud components

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
