About The Role

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Software Developer to join a well-established, innovative tech company based in Belfast. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to advance their career in software development within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with a cross-functional product team in an agile setting, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of impactful applications. From day one, you will be engaged in writing clean, scalable code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with experienced engineers to solve real-world challenges. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in.NET software development, with a focus on building robust applications.
  • Strong knowledge of C# programming language, with familiarity in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and services is advantageous.
  • Understanding of modern development practices and frameworks for both frontend and backend development.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in line with project requirements.
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues within existing applications, providing timely resolutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into projects.
  • Assist in the documentation of technical specifications and user guides.
