Job Description
Deliver low-latency, resilient systems as a Software Developer, driving high-throughput event-based services.
Make a direct impact by building distributed, event-driven architectures that handle millions of live events every day. The Martech and PAM Platform department builds scalable solutions that enable colleagues across the business to launch dynamic reward features quickly and independently.
Working across the full stack, the role focuses on Golang, TypeScript, React, SQL, and Kafka, with systems deployed to GKE. You will tackle complex technical challenges, explore open-source technologies, and bring innovative ideas to life in a collaborative, delivery-driven setting.
This role is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid work-from-home policy.
Qualifications
- Commercial experience with web client or server-side development
- Proficiency with Golang, TypeScript, React, SQL, Kafka, or Apache Flink
- Background delivering software in continuous change environments
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance developer productivity
- Clear technical communication with cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven grasp of modern software development methodologies and engineering practices
- Understanding of automation, CI pipelines, and developer tooling
- Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Additional Information
- Develop low-latency, highly available, and scalable software solutions
- Build concurrent, distributed components capable of handling high transactional volumes
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase to ensure continuous reliability
- Identify technical improvements to modernize architectures and workflows
- Contribute to solution proposals and system design discussions
- Produce realistic work effort estimates for technical deliverables
