About The Role
We are partnering exclusively with a dynamic and innovative tech company based in Belfast, renowned for creating impactful solutions that improve people's lives. This organization is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a talented Software Developer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both frontend and backend development, eager to contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative, agile environment. From the outset, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications, ensuring they meet the needs of users and stakeholders alike.
As a Software Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver innovative features and improvements. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Qualifications
- Proven experience in.NET software development, with a focus on building robust applications.
- Strong proficiency in C#, with exposure to .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, including Azure or AWS, is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern development practices, including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- A genuine interest in both frontend and backend development, with a collaborative mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and growing within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into projects.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
