About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Software Developers to join a busy Oracle Fusion Payroll environment within a major public sector programme.
This is a long-term opportunity within a DevOps-focused team responsible for delivering ongoing payroll enhancements, pay award changes, and critical business support. The work is operational and continuous in nature rather than project-based, offering stability and long-term engagement.
You will support and enhance payroll services that are essential to the wider organisation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions
- Deliver payroll changes, enhancements, and configuration updates
- Support integrations across Oracle Cloud applications
- Build and maintain OTBI/BI reports
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
- Work closely with users to understand and translate requirements
- Support data loading and migration activities
- Contribute to systems integration and design improvements
- Operate within a DevOps and continuous improvement environment
- Ensure compliance with security and modern engineering standards
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud (Payroll focus)
- Fast Formula development experience
- Hands-on payroll configuration and support experience
- Oracle integrations experience
- OTBI / BI reporting
- SQL / PLSQL
- Experience with some or all of:
- HCM Extract
- HCM Data Loader (HDL)
- HCM Spreadsheet Loader (HSDL/AD)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Elements configuration

- Experience working in corporate services or shared services environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to interpret user needs and deliver practical solutions
Desirable
- Public sector experience
