We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join a growing technology business that provides online document management solutions to the housing development industry.
You will play an important role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications, working across both existing platforms and new functionality. The role would suit an experienced PHP developer who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle and is comfortable working with SQL databases. Alongside PHP and SQL development, you will also have exposure to mobile application development and will ideally have experience working with Xcode and Android Studio.
This is a full-time office-based role so please consider this before applying.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain PHP-based web applications.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries and database functionality.
- Maintain and enhance existing software platforms.
- Develop new features and functionality based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of mobile applications using Xcode and Android Studio.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements across the company's technology platforms.

Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' commercial experience in PHP development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and SQL.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Good understanding of web application development and software engineering principles.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications.
- Knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.
