Regulatory Technology Developer – QRT (Quantum Research & Technologies)

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT), a global quantitative and systematic investment manager, is a technology-driven firm pioneering a scientific approach to investing. Our collaborative culture fosters innovation, ensuring we deliver consistent, high-quality returns for investors.

We are growing our Regulatory Reporting team, situated within Compliance. You will partner with business, compliance, and IT teams to support the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant data delivery while continuously enhancing efficiency.

The Role

The Regulatory Technology Developer will play a key technical role in maintaining and developing regulatory reporting systems, automation, and controls, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to evolving financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for and managing the integrity of regulatory reporting systems
  • Design and develop automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Assess regulatory updates and risks, implementing changes to align with evolving requirements
  • Work across cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance frameworks and technological capabilities
  • Maintain and optimise existing regulatory reporting infrastructure
  • Develop and enforce data validation and quality assurance processes
  • Identify process inefficiencies, propose and implement improvements for accuracy and scalability
  • Serve as the expert technical point of contact for regulatory technology matters
  • Engage with stakeholders to address compliance queries and uphold regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

Join our ³+ years of regulated systems development experience as a polyglot developer with a technical and analytical mindset.

  • -python, SQL, and database development as core skills
  • Experience with financial derivatives and trading systems (highly desirable)
  • Hands-on expertise with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
  • Ability to design robust frameworks and tools from scratch
  • Strong familiarity with modern software architecture and cloud environments
  • Problem-solving mindset, adept at addressing complex technical challenges
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to advance technical innovation
  • Excellent collaboration skills for knowledge-sharing across teams
