About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a rapidly expanding organization that is at the forefront of integrating AI and agentic services within cloud environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a cloud-native middleware platform, focusing on building and enhancing system-to-system integrations across a dynamic and growing technology estate. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing scalable, serverless applications primarily within AWS, with some involvement in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and subject matter experts, to deliver innovative solutions that drive the organization’s technological advancement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proven experience in cloud computing and software development. Candidates should have hands-on expertise with AWS services and a solid understanding of event-driven architecture. Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, and Python is essential. Experience with serverless frameworks, API development, and enterprise integration is required. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK, as well as database management with RDS or DynamoDB, is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch. A background in testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing, will be advantageous. The role is suitable for professionals with a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native middleware applications that facilitate seamless system integrations. Your key duties will include:
- Creating scalable serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, and EventBridge to support event-driven architectures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop APIs, and implement robust integration patterns that enhance system interoperability.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK to automate deployment processes.
- Setting up and managing tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus to ensure system health and performance.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
- Keeping abreast of emerging cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve the platform’s capabilities and security.
