About us

We are a niche geopolitical analysis consultancy. Much of our work is commercially sensitive, and both our LinkedIn Page and this advert are necessarily minimalist; short-listed candidates will be given more information.

About the job

We're looking for an experienced Software Developer (Web Applications) to join our engineering team and help build, deploy, and maintain modern web applications — including AI-powered tools that support our analysts' work.

You'll be joining a company working at the cutting edge of geopolitical analysis with a strong ethical core, providing tech solutions across a range of teams and workstreams. This role is open to both permanent employees and contractors.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and deploy web applications in a collaborative team environment
  • Develop and integrate AI-powered features and tools (e.g. LLM integrations, agentic workflows, native AI applications)
  • Write clean, maintainable code and lead/contribute to code reviews
  • Use Git for version control and team collaboration
  • Mentor junior developers and help shape engineering practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
