About The Role
MCS Group is excited to present an opportunity for a Software Developer to join a dynamic, well-established tech company in Belfast. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to advance their career in software development within a forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a cross-functional product team working in an agile setting, contributing to the development of impactful applications that make a real difference in people's lives. From day one, you will be involved in writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and tackling real-world problems alongside experienced engineers. Qualifications
- Proven experience in.NET software development, particularly in building applications.
- Strong proficiency in C#, with familiarity with.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.
- Experience with React and cloud technologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience with modern frontend frameworks and tools.
- A genuine interest in both frontend and backend development, demonstrating versatility and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent collaborative skills and a proactive attitude towards professional growth.
- Ability to adapt to an agile environment and work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in line with project requirements.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and share knowledge with team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver seamless solutions.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and best practices within the team.
