Role Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks from scratch using C# and.NET/.NET Core.
  • Develop automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end tests for enterprise applications.
  • Implement automation using Selenium, Playwright (C#), or Cypress.
  • Develop and execute API automation using RestSharp, Postman, or similar tools.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns to create maintainable and reusable automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain unit and automated testing using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
  • Validate REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems through automated testing approaches.
  • Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
  • Use Git for source control and follow established code review and development practices.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to identify defects and improve overall software quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and analyse test failures and application issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA automation frameworks, processes, and engineering practices.
  • Perform testing of applications deployed on Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Develop and execute automation strategies for cloud-based applications and services.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes environments as part of application testing and deployment.
  • Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot applications using cloud monitoring, logging, and debugging tools.
  • Support quality engineering practices across cloud-native and distributed application environments.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, test automation, or SDET roles.
  • Strong hands-on programming experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright (C#), or Cypress.
  • Experience with RestSharp, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
  • Experience with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
