The Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing technology team.
The main focus of the role will be developing and maintaining web-based applications, with a strong emphasis on PHP and backend development. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and contributing to a fast-moving development environment.
You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to new development as well as improving and maintaining existing applications.
A key part of the role will be helping the team continue to develop its CI/CD approach, improving the way software is tested, deployed and released.
You'll work closely with the wider technology and product teams to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
- Proficient in PHP
- Experience working with modern PHP frameworks, ideally Laravel
- Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience building and working with RESTful APIs
- Good understanding of Git and version control
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable Experience
- Experience with React, Angular or Vue
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a desire to help develop and improve these processes
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with automated testing and modern development practices
- Experience with NoSQL databases, Redis or messaging technologies
