Gear4music is a leading UK & European musical retailer. Since launching in 2003, our mission has been to make music accessible for all. We now offer over 67,000 products, serve customers in 190 countries, and operate in 15 languages and 9 currencies. In 2022, we also launched AV.com – retailing HiFi, Home Cinema, and accessories.

Your Mission
You will be someone who pushes commercial value and helps improve team values. You help shape and define how we can be more effective with both commercial and team values at the core of each decision.

Some of the Technical Things We’re Looking For:
- Modern PHP development skills.
- HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript (including frameworks like ReactJS and ExtJS).
- MySQL knowledge, working with large databases.
- Cloud computing and containerized applications.
- Building scalable distributed systems.
- A background in e-commerce.
- An interest in software performance.
- Any of: Composer, Docker, Github, CI, PHPUnit, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, ElasticSearch, xhprof.
