About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative features that improve user experience and support our company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-quality software products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies including React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions aligned with project requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into our platform.
  • Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
