We are working with a leading engineering and manufacturing business that is at the forefront of developing innovative systems across a global product portfolio.
The Role
- Support the design, development, optimisation, and deployment of electrical, control, instrumentation, and automation (EICA) systems.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and efficient control systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Produce electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop and optimise industrial PLC/SCADA control systems, including programming and software integration.
- Support HMI and SCADA development and modifications, and assist with testing and fault-finding.

What You'll Need
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in electrical and PLC software design, with strong knowledge of industrial automation and control system design principles.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
- Familiarity with relevant British and European standards (e.g., EN 60204, ISO 12100, EN746-2) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
