Software Engineers – C# / Java / Rust / Python
Newcastle upon Tyne | Multiple Levels | Financial Technology
I'm working with a rapidly growing technology business, backed by major names in global financial services, looking to hire talented Software Engineers across multiple experience levels.
This is an opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges within financial services, combining the technical depth of a specialist engineering firm with the resources and exposure of an established global organisation.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers, collaborate directly with stakeholders and take ownership of technically challenging projects from initial concept through to delivery.
Essential requirements
Please note that the following are firm requirements for this opportunity:
- Minimum AAA at A-Level (three A grades).
- Must be willing to work five days per week onsite in Newcastle upon Tyne.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience with at least one of C#, Java, Rust, or Python.
- Relevant undergraduate degree.

The opportunity
You'll be joining a collaborative, engineering-led environment where developers are encouraged to take ownership, challenge existing approaches and solve complex technical problems.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Working directly with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
- Building and improving complex financial and technology systems.
- Taking ownership across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborating with engineers across different disciplines and experience levels.
What we're looking for
We're interested in developers at multiple stages of their careers, from junior engineers through to more experienced professionals.
Beyond technical ability, we're looking for people who are intellectually curious, enjoy solving difficult problems, and want to develop within a high-performing engineering environment. Financial services experience is advantageous but not essential.
