🚀 Software Engineer – C#/.NET 📍 Reading | Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days WFH) 💰 £40,000 - £50,000

We're working with a client in Reading who is looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years' experience to join their growing engineering team. You'll be building and shipping features across the full development lifecycle, working closely with senior engineers to sharpen your skills while taking real ownership of your own work.

If you've got solid C#/.NET experience and you're keen to keep growing your technical skillset in a supportive team environment, we want to hear from you.

đź’» What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, build and maintain applications using C# and.NET
  • Write clean, well-tested code and take part in regular code reviews
  • Contribute to and help maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product, and QA to deliver reliable releases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues
  • Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to help shape technical decisions and best practices

🎯 What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years' hands-on experience with C# and .NET
  • Some exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Good understanding of core software engineering principles (OOP, design patterns, clean code)
  • Comfortable working in an Agile team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, with a willingness to learn and take feedback
