This role is with Europe's largest holiday rentals company, bringing holidays to life with over 110,000 holiday homes across 25 countries. They are dedicated to delighting guests and homeowners while fostering an inspiring workplace for their people.
The Role
- Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and data transformation pipelines for a property platform.
- Contribute to front-end applications, working across the full stack.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
- Work with modern technologies including TypeScript, AWS, and Docker.
- Monitor and improve the health, reliability, and performance of production systems.
- Participate in pair/mob programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Need
- Commercial experience building backend applications and APIs.
- Experience developing backend applications using modern technologies like TypeScript (Node.js), with familiarity or interest in Python and Java.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or data integrations.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices.
