ROLE
The primary objective of the Software Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for subsea equipment. This role involves creating software applications, conducting tests and debugging, and collaborating with other engineers and departments to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct tests to identify and fix bugs, ensuring the software is functional and robust.
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, software specifications, and user manuals.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address software challenges and improve product performance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in software development.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and programming.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of software development.
- Familiarity with subsea equipment and related industry standards.
- Experience in development of ROV Software.
- Experience in managing large-scale software development projects.
- Experience with Green Sea ROV software.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
