Job Description
LSI have partnered with a growing Consultancy that are looking for a Technical / Developer Consultant who combines strong hands-on development skills with the ability to work directly with clients, understand their requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions.
This is not purely a development role. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, taking ownership of technical requirements from initial client discussions and scoping through to development, implementation and training.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and developing custom web applications, APIs and integrations
- Building solutions using C# and .NET
- Working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS across front-end requirements
- Designing and querying databases using SQL
- Building workflows and solving requirements that cannot be achieved through standard configuration
- Meeting directly with clients to understand and clarify technical requirements
- Scoping, estimating and taking ownership of development work through to delivery
- Training clients on the solutions you have designed and implemented
- Collaborating with technical consultants, developers and wider delivery teams

What we're looking for:

- Commercial experience developing with C# /.NET – ideally 2+ years
- Experience building web applications and Web APIs
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Good understanding of SQL, database design and performance
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Confidence working directly with clients and translating requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to scope, estimate and independently manage technical tasks
- Interest or experience within the not-for-profit sector
