Job Description

LSI have partnered with a growing Consultancy that are looking for a Technical / Developer Consultant who combines strong hands-on development skills with the ability to work directly with clients, understand their requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions.

This is not purely a development role. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, taking ownership of technical requirements from initial client discussions and scoping through to development, implementation and training.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and developing custom web applications, APIs and integrations
  • Building solutions using C# and .NET
  • Working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS across front-end requirements
  • Designing and querying databases using SQL
  • Building workflows and solving requirements that cannot be achieved through standard configuration
  • Meeting directly with clients to understand and clarify technical requirements
  • Scoping, estimating and taking ownership of development work through to delivery
  • Training clients on the solutions you have designed and implemented
  • Collaborating with technical consultants, developers and wider delivery teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
