Company Description

The Agentic Loop is an AI publication and learning space focused on agentic AI for curious learners, builders, and leaders. It translates fast-moving developments in AI agents into clear, practical language through a weekly newsletter, daily posts, and in-depth frameworks. The platform offers hands-on programs, including the Production GenAI Engineering Program, to help people progress from following AI trends to building real systems. The Agentic Loop features honest analysis of what works, what does not, and conversations with leading practitioners in the agent age. It is designed for anyone who wants to actively understand and shape the AI shift, from students to founders and executives.

Role Description

As a Software Engineer at The Agentic Loop, you will design, build, and maintain backend services and tools that power our AI-driven content, workflows, and learning programs in a full-time remote role. Your day-to-day work will include:

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with frontier AI tooling while keeping systems robust, maintainable, and user-focused.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and working with databases.
  • Hands-on experience in Software Development using modern development practices, testing, and version control.
  • Solid Programming skills in at least one widely used language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to design clean, modular, and reusable code.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, APIs, or agentic frameworks is a strong plus, even if self-taught.
  • Comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment, with clear written communication and collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
