CyberAtlas (cyberatlas.ai) maps the internet at scale. We continuously discover, fingerprint, and analyze billions of domains and websites — turning raw internet-wide data into actionable security and market intelligence.
Our newest public product, Finder (cyberatlas.ai/finder), makes billions of subdomains searchable in milliseconds — type any word or domain and instantly see every matching site on the internet.
Behind Finder we run a suite of internal intelligence engines, including:
- Vulnerable-software detection — identifying websites running outdated or known-vulnerable software versions across the internet, mapped to their CVEs.
- Malware detection — flagging web pages that are compromised or serving malicious content.

You'll help build and scale the systems that power all of it.
What you will do:
- Design and build backend services and data pipelines that process billions of records efficiently.
- Extend our internet-scale detection engines — technology fingerprinting, vulnerable-version matching, and malicious-content analysis.
- Work across the stack: high-throughput data ingestion, fast search/query layers, and the web app and APIs that expose it all.
- Optimize hot paths for latency and cost — millisecond queries over datasets in the billions.
- Ship product features end-to-end, from data model to API to UI.

What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in Python (Flask/FastAPI) and/or Go.
- Comfort working with large-scale data — search engines (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch), key-value stores (LMDB/Redis), and databases (MongoDB/Postgres).
- Solid grasp of performance: indexing strategies, query optimization, and handling datasets that don't fit in memory.
- Experience with Docker and building/operating services in production.
- A pragmatic, ship-it mindset — you write simple, correct code and iterate fast.
